We've already announced Dean, Pelosi, Lawrence Lessig, Krugman, Perlstein, Digby, and others.

But the big reason this year will be cool? It's in Texas. And you'll know it's in Texas.

Texas has one of the more vibrant state Netroots communities - in part because of how much flak local progressives took from Republicans over the years (Tom Delay?). So attendees will hear from local activists who got it done - organizing under the toughest conditions, when no one expected them to.

Do we expect you to move to Texas to be a progressive organizer? Nope. But the Texas community will serve as an example for all of us.
